Angler serves up a White Christmas

Angler White Christmas

Angler is kicking off the party season as it means to go on, by teaming up with one of the world’s most famous Champagne houses. The City’s award-winning fish and seafood restaurant opened A White Christmas on the Angler Terrace on Wednesday 7th November, combining a sparkling new look with a limited-edition menu for its seventh-floor rooftop bar.

As another successful year comes to an end, with highlights including Angler retaining its Michelin star for the fifth year running, the restaurant is celebrating with a typically epicurean takeover in collaboration with Moët Vintage Champagne. The restaurant’s alfresco terrace – which is fully heated and can be entirely enclosed from the elements – is dressed up for a white Christmas, featuring an all- white Christmas tree as well as a dusting of twinkling lights throughout.

Guests can choose from Moët & Chandon’s Brut Impérial NV, Rosé Impérial or 2009 Vintage, each available per bottle or by the glass. These are listed alongside a pair of Moët-mixed cocktails, the Belle Epoque (Moët & Chandon Brut Rosé accompanied by Chambord, Chartreuse and rose and lavender syrup) and French Kiss (Moët & Chandon Brut mixed with Hennessy VS, apricot brandy liqueur, Angostura bitters and blackcurrant jam).

Angler’s White Christmas is fuelled by substantial, thoughtfully considered small plates, also created especially for the occasion. The eclectic food menu includes Pigs-in-blanket croquettes with cranberry ketchup, Baked Baron Bigod from Suffolk with sourdough bread and Borettane onions, Curried Bratwurst, as well as a Hoisin duck flatbread.

This festive party season, Angler in the City is teaming up with Moët Vintage Champagne to bring a special vibe to its rooftop bar and terrace. D&D London’s Michelin-starred fish and seafood restaurant has launched A White Christmas on the Angler Terrace from 7th November until 31st December, combining a refined, all-white and wintry look with a range of Moët Vintage Champagnes, specially created cocktails and hearty small plates.
