For the Sauce team, summer means one thing… Taste of London! One of the biggest and best foodie festivals of the year, getting tickets to Taste is one of the best ways to spend your weekend, and one of the best ways to eat out at all of your favourite restaurants in one day… what’s not to love? Here’s who we’re most excited to see…
Seven Dials’ favourite Tredwell’s, spearheaded by Marcus Wareing, will be serving their famous Harissa glazed aubergine, coconut and coriander (above) with a fabulous Pulled pork and ginger slider as their Icon dish.
Usually located inside Harrods, luxury Chinese restaurant Chai Wu will be heading to Regent’s Park to offer the finest of Chinese cuisine. Their Icon dish will be Wagyu beef skewers, one of the best Wagyu beef dishes on offer all weekend.
Mediterranean restaurant and London favourite Ember Yard have brought their Spanish and Italian influence to Taste with an almighty burger- Iberico Pork and Foie Gras. Finish up with a delicious White chocolate panna cotta, and say hello to Ben Tish for us!
Soho’s own LIMA Floral is serving ceviche! Get your delicate fish fix from them at stand R33, with Seafood Ceviche with Traditional Tigers Milks and Canchita Corn, or an Andean Quinoa Ceviche for a vegetarian fix.
They’re shakin’ it up at Taste with a bespoke-to-Taste festival concrete, malted marshmallow, peanut butter frozen custard with crumbled chocolate pretzels. And of course, this is the place for the ultimate burger all weekend.
London start-up MightyBee are debuting Taste with their all natural, soulful coconut water. Join them for organic and additive free coconut water to keep yourself hydrated and happy throughout the festival.
Kensington’s favourite Indian restaurant will be dishing up refreshing twists on classic dishes- we’re especially looking forward to the Peshwari Chapmen (Lamb chops marinated with raw papays, fennel and star anise)
