The summer has ended, the kids are back to school! To celebrate, we at Sauce have chosen five of our favourite locations in London that boast some of the most delicious children’s meals.

Busaba Eathai

This modern Thai eatery and casual dining venue offers a simple, yet flavoursome menu with meals providing an authenticity and freshness that never fails to impress.

Their current ‘Children’s menu’ favourite has to be the ‘Fried Chicken’, with lemongrass, shallot and a sweet chilli sauce. The flavours presented in this dish provide a subtle, yet exciting taste of the mouth-watering Thai cuisine.

Tom’s Kitchen

Tom’s Kitchen is the go-to for British favourites and comfort food classics, with a dedication to using the highest quality, ethically sourced ingredients from UK-based suppliers and local producers.

Sauce’s favourite dishes from the ‘Kid’s menu’ includes sausage and mashed potato, a classic British dish, followed by the naughty-but-nice milk chocolate profiteroles. Altogether this main and dessert costs £8.50 as part of Tom’s Kitchen children’s menu lunch and dinner deal.

Exclusively at Tom’s Kitchen in Canary Wharf, children can come along to a fun-filled arts & crafts session held every Sunday 12-2pm with a professional children’s entertainer whilst you relax over brunch.

Tredwell’s, based on Upper Saint Martin’s Lane, in the heart of Seven Dials, offers a variety of British inspired dishes.

Our favourite from the ‘Junior menu’ is definitely the ‘fabulous fish cake’, with ‘tangy tartar sauce’, served with mashed potato, peas and broccoli. A fabulous twist on a classic British meal, ensuring your children gets a good hearty intake of veg.

Shake Shack

Shake Shack is one of the favourites of the Sauce team- and it will be hard to find a child who doesn’t want to devour a Shake Shack frozen custards. With the option of making it into a ‘concrete’ by personalising your custard with a variety of different ‘mix-ins’ including marshmallow sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough and Belgian waffles, this will be an appetizingly messy affair.
