Chocolate Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square

This Easter, the recently opened Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square will offer a Chocolate Afternoon Tea using only the finest Valrhona chocolate. The indulgent menu is a chocoholic’s dream come true, incorporating chocolate into each section of the menu; finger sandwiches, French pastries and a twist on tradition with chocolate and almond scones with chocolate hazelnut spread, Devonshire clotted cream and seasonal jams. Savoury items subtly featuring chocolate include roast beef on a milk bun with granny smith compote, verjus and chocolate nibs and goats cheese mouse on cereal toast with espelette coulis and bitter chocolate. Chocolate connoisseurs can delight with a selection of patisseries featuring a chocolate from Valrhona’s range such as chocolate tart with raspberry and candied ginger made with Manjari (64%) and Jivara (40%) and macaroon with matcha and orange confit featuring Ivoire (35%). To accompany the Easter Afternoon Tea, guests can choose Hot Chocolate or from a selection of Rare Teas all with delicate chocolate notes.

The Chocolate Afternoon Tea will be served in the stunning Rotunda Lounge at the heart of the hotel, available from 10th April to 23rd April, served daily from 3.00pm – 5.30pm. The menu costs £52 per person or £62 including a glass of Delamotte Brut Champagne.

Aster’s talented mixologists will be serving up the Aster Egg cocktail as an Easter special. The delectable concoction is made with Diplomatico reserva rum mixed with Mozart dark chocolate liqueur, aztec bitter chocolate, milk and sugar. The cocktail is served in a hollow milk chocolate egg, providing a chocolate chaser for this alcoholic Easter treat. Aster Egg is available from 3rd – 17th April and costs £18. The Bottomless Brunch will be available on both Good Friday and Saturday, with live music and kids under 12 eating free. German Gymnasium celebrates Easter with a set lunch menu, special cocktail and show stopping installation

This year, D&D London restaurant German Gymnasium will be celebrating Easter with a menu of carefully curated dishes, a stunning Easter themed installation and a specially created cocktail called Le Chocolatier. Costing customers £10.50 and available from 10th-16th April, the cocktail is a well-balanced mix of creole bitter, Ron Zacapa 23 rum, guanoabana juice and wood cacao syrup, garnished with vanilla foam. The special set Easter lunch menu designed by executive chef, Bjoern Wassmuth will allow guests to select two or three courses, for £28/£35 respectively, with the option of unlimited Prosecco for an additional £15. The menu will feature a range of German fare from smoked pork sausage salad or calf liver dumplings as a starter, to chicken schnitzel or schupfnudeln with fresh truffle and spring greens as main dish options.
