Whole aromatic goose this Christmas at Hutong

This winter, Northern Chinese restaurant Hutong will be offering a whole goose served with butterfly buns and three special sauces: roast goose gravy, black pepper sauce and home-made plum sauce. Marinated for 12 hours using traditional Chinese spices, including Sichuan pepper, dry chilli, Tianjin-Chinese pickles, star anise, ginger and onion, the goose boasts a sensational flavour and aroma. The goose will be carved table side and beautifully presented for guests to enjoy. This limited edition dish is available from 30th November – 30th December and priced at £95, it serves a minimum of 5 people and must be pre-ordered when a restaurant reservation is made for dinner. Comforting festive treats from The Bertinet Bakery

Bertinet mince pies are made from a rich, buttery shortcrust pastry and filled with delicious mincemeat infused with brandy, topped with frangipane and flaked almonds and packaged in a beautiful handcrafted wooden box, containing 12 mince pies and finished with bakers’ string. The Pointer is excited to introduce Suckling Pig as a brand new special to its menu.  From their very own Pointer Farm, the rare breed middle white pig will be available as a dish to share for up to 10 people or on an individual basis, priced at £25 per person.
