Husband and wife team, Travers and Katie Nettleton, launched Barrs Yard on Friday, the sparkling new artisans’ collective on their two-acre site in Hungerford. A perfect opportunity to escape to the Berkshire countryside, the evening was filled with sparkling rosé, crackling fire pits and delicious food; all to be enjoyed whilst exploring the various collections of artisan garden furniture, artwork, clothes, flowers, food and wines that now fill the yard’s barns. Here are some of our favourite snaps and a brief glimpse of what you can expect to find at Barrs Yard:

Spot the hippo – a happy customer makes his way out of Cricket Fine Art cradling his new purchase. This is Cricket’s second gallery opening, with their first located in London’s Chelsea. Established in 1996, founder Leslie Pratt has exhibited the likes of Chloe Lamb, Christine Seifert and Jeffrey Pratt. An inviting and welcoming gallery, Leslie aims to use this second site to further nurture artists and inspire others to “bring art home”.
