Free- Flowing Feasts at Veneta this Bank Holiday

This bank holiday weekend, Veneta in St James’s Market is extending their recently launched Sunday Feasts menu with free-flowing drinks right through to the bank holiday Monday. Weekend lunches in Italy are a long, leisurely affair that are embraced by both families and friends, and Veneta’s Head Chef, Jamie Thickett, has reflected this in the new feasting menu that, for just £35pp, includes four decadent courses as well as unlimited Prosecco or Venetian red or white wine. ​Charcuterie; Olives; Homemade focaccia; and Sardines in saor will be followed by Primi including Kid goat ragu with fresh pappardelle, Secondi such as Whole grilled bream with fennel, blood orange and agretti, and for dessert, Saffron ice cream with rhubarb and blood orange. Brunch at Margot

This bank holiday, guests at Italian favourite, Margot, can enjoy a selection of carefully curated brunch dishes with an authentic Italian twist. Poached eggs with avocado bruschetta and crispy pancetta will grace the menu alongside a wonderfully light yet indulgent crespelle al limone (Italian lemon pancakes) with wild berries and marscapone. The brunch menu will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00, against the backdrop of one of London’s most beautiful restaurants.

Taste of Spring set menu at Sartoria

This weekend Savile Row’s Sartoria will be offering a lunch set menu from renowned Italian chef Francesco Mazzei that celebrates the best ingredients the season has to offer. Antipasti include Barbecued mackerel with cauliflower quinoa, for Secondi chose between Pan fried Cornish squid with Tuscan papa al Pomodoro and Free range roasted chicken with olive oil mash and stewed fine beans. To finish there’s a Panna cotta with berries or a classic Tiramisu. Available Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April, enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz with two courses for £23.50 or three courses for £32. Closed on Monday 1st May.

Nordic Afternoon Tea at Aquavit

Nordic Afternoon Tea, offers guests a wonderful array of traditional Nordic delicacies all served in the stylish restaurant Aquavit, in St James’s Market. Including an assortment of Danish open sandwiches with classic Nordic flavours such as Gravlax, Shrimp Skagen, and Venison tartare, as well as a selection of traditional Swedish pastries including Semla – cardamom buns filled with almond paste and topped with whipped cream – and a selection of the seven different types of cookies, which, according to a tradition dating back to the 1800s, is the ideal number that should always be offered to guests!

Brunch with a view at Coq d’Argent

Coq d’Argent is offering brunch on both Sunday and Monday this weekend. The brunch menu has a French influence and includes dishes such as Escargots de Bourgogne as well as London oak smoked salmon with condiments and melba toast. For a main course choose from classics like Croque-Madame or a Spring black truffle and wild mushroom risotto with smoked celeriac puree and parmesan crisp. Brunch can be enjoyed in the restaurants roof terrace which has stunning views of the city. 2-courses are £26, 3-courses are available for £29, brunch is served between 12-4pm.

Plateau bank holiday brunch

The brunch menu at Plateau this weekend includes classic egg dishes as well as starters such as a Caesar salad with anchovies and 20-month aged parmesan, a Charcuterie board and Curry roasted squash and tzatziki with onion bhaji, puffed rice and coriander. For a main course choose between dishes such as Confit duck leg with lentils or Baked cod with pepper, paprika and tomato. Brunch is available until 3:30pm, 2-courses are available for £25, 3-courses for £30 and add free-flowing prosecco or non-alcoholic cocktails for an extra £15. Closed on Sunday 30th.

Brunch at Tom’s Kitchen

Bank Holiday brunch at Tom’s Kitchen includes sweet treats such as Brioche French toast with caramelised apples and cinnamon cream or Seasonal berry pancakes with maple syrup. There’s also morning staples such as Tom’s Full English or Eggs Benedict to enjoy. The brunch menu is available from Tom’s Kitchens in Chelsea, Canary Wharf and St Katharine Docks from 10am-4pm this weekend.

Brunch indulgence at Plum + Spilt Milk

Brunch is a combination of the very best of both worlds. Better than breakfast, in that it affords a lie-in and more leisurely than lunch, offering an excuse (as if you needed one) to indulge. This Bank Holiday Monday, Plum + Spilt Milk will be serving up their weekend brunch menu for you to enjoy with family and friends.

Tuck into avocado on toast, eggy bread drenched in salted caramel, potato cakes with grilled smoked bacon, Mey Selections’ prime beef, eggs whichever way, and many more tempting seasonal British dishes by Chef Director Mark Sargeant.

Bank holiday boozy brunch at Big Easy

Big Easy’s Bottomless Brunch will be available Saturday, Sunday and Monday for both May bank holidays. The brunch offers a choice between a Bar.B.Q and lobster option alongside bottomless frozen Bacardi mojitos (as well as prosecco, wine and Big Easy Brew). The Big Pig Gig – Limitless Bar.B.Q includes North Carolina chopped pork, pit-smoked Bar.B.Q chicken and St Louis pork ribs served with slaw, pit-smoked beans, fries and fresh baked cornbread. Alternatively, guests opting for the Lobster Fest can select a whole fresh Nova Scotia lobster, lobster roll or lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, served with fries and house salad. The  brunch will be available from 12pm to 5pm at Big Easy Kings Road, Covent Garden and Canary Wharf and is priced at £29.50.
