The Great Northern Hotel, London
Designed by Lewis Cubitt, The Great Northern Hotel was the first of the new generation of Victorian railway hotels. First established in 1854, the hotel reopened to the public in July 2013, following a complete renovation to create an elegant boutique hotel in the heart of London’s King’s Cross St Pancras, just 25 metres from the Eurostar terminus. Ninety-one luxurious bedrooms feature three breath-taking departures in design, with beautifully handcrafted furniture and original decor set against Farrow & Ball shades, with stunning Lefroy-Brooks bathrooms and free high speed Wi-Fi. Old and new blended in perfect unison.
