Growing up in Hertfordshire, England, Chef Lee Westcott was drawn to the kitchen at the age of sixteen. After earning the trust of world-renowned London chef and restauranteur, Tom Aikens over four years, two of which as his Head Chef, Westcott was then asked by Jason Atherton to oversee two of his restaurants in Hong Kong. He has also staged at two of the world’s leading restaurant – Noma (Denmark) and Per Se (New York). Most recently, Lee launched and directed Typing Room in London’s Town Hall Hotel for four years, to great critical acclaim. In January 2019, Lee opened Pensons, on the Netherwood Estate in Herefordshire, where he is Head Chef.
