Sartoria launches new cocktail collection from Simone Caporale in collaboration with Miller Harris

Harris Scent Fragrant Cocktail

This summer, the renowned Italian mixologist Simone Caporale has partnered with luxury London perfumer Miller Harris, and Tanqueray No. TEN, to create a collection of three exquisite cocktails for the Libare Bar at Sartoria in Mayfair. Artfully combining fragrance and flavour, the cocktails will be served alongside a selection of cicchetti from Chef Patron of Sartoria, Francesco Mazzei.

Inspired by the Étui Noir fragrance, the Harris Scent cocktail expresses notes of wood, leather and smoke, balanced with bright flashes of citrus, by combining the flavours of elemi and tuberose with Tanqueray No. TEN and citrus. Meanwhile, the intoxicating floral notes of the Lumière Dorée scent, are represented in the Neroli Tonic with quassia, neroli, and quinine. Finally, the vetiver root, vanilla and Amalfi lemon in Simone’s Vetiver Bianco masterfully reflect the notes of oak moss, neroli, amber and vanilla in L’ Air de Rien from Miller Harris.

This exclusive collection of cocktails will be complemented by a range of cicchetti from Francesco Mazzei, including Rice supplì; Straciatella and anchovies; and Calamari fritti con zucchini.

The only restaurant on Savile Row, Sartoria is greatly inspired by the street’s timeless style and strong tradition for the tailor-made experience, something that is also reflected in the complex couture fragrances from Miller Harris, each designed to tell a vivid urban story.

Notes to editors
The cocktails will be available from 4 July to the end of September, priced at £11 each. They have been designed for Sartoria’s Libare Bar in a collaboration between Simone Caporale, Miller Harris, and Tanqueray No. TEN.

About Sartoria:
With renowned Italian chef Francesco Mazzei at the helm as Chef Patron, Sartoria serves an all-day dining menu, inspired by Francesco’s home region of Calabria and the surrounding areas of Italy. The only restaurant on Savile Row, Sartoria has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment by acclaimed designer David d’Almada. Boasting a heated terrace, cicchetti counter, two private dining rooms and wine cellar, the exquisite and timeless design lends itself perfectly to its glamorous Mayfair location. Furthermore, Sartoria’s Libare Bar is a Savile Row hotspot, combining a dash of old Mayfair charm with a measure of Italian style.

About Simone Caporale:
Originally from Como, Italy, Caporale moved to London in 2009 to pursue his career as a mixologist, and live in what he perceived to be the world’s cocktail capital. Caporale first learnt the London-style of mixing drinks as a bartender at Roast in Borough Market, before moving to Artesian at The Langham, where along with Alex Kratena, he was responsible for the bar being named World’s Best Bar for four consecutive years at the Spirited Awards in New Orleans. Caporale is known for his highly-experimental cocktails that are designed to appeal to all of the senses, with appearance, scent, glassware, and contrasting flavours and textures all playing a key part in their creation. Caporale left Artesian in 2015 to pursue his own projects.
