Angler and Martini Riserva team up for Caffè Torino terrace bar this summer

Angler’s rooftop terrace has undergone an authentic Italian makeover as it unveils Caffè Torino, its stylish new summer bar which opened on Monday 3rd July. In partnership with Martini Riserva, the look and style is early-1900s Italy, taking inspiration from Turin’s iconic Caffè Torino which opened in 1903.

Serving a limited-edition Negroni menu, Caffè Torino at Angler honours the king of aperitivo cocktails. The five-strong cocktail list (all priced at £11) includes the Southern Negroni, blending Martini Rubino, Martini Bitter and gin, as well as a Martini Ambrato, Martini Bitter, olives and Prosecco concoction, the Dirty Sbagliato. Those after maximum refreshment on a hot day should look no further than the South Place Spritz, which mixes Martini Rubino, lavender, grilled lemon and Fever Tree’s Mediterranean Tonic Water.

A new selection of bar snacks will pair perfectly with the refreshing, bitter-sweet drinks, including Truffle and pecorino nuts (£4.50), Sicilian arancini stuffed with bolognese sauce, aged Parmesan and summer truffle mayonnaise (£9.50) and Fritto misto di mare (mixed fried seafood), with garlic mayonnaise and lemon (£14).

Angler’s sun-drenched, 7th-floor terrace has also been dressed in fragrant botanicals and vintage Italian prints. A fusion of Martini heritage and modern luxury, visitors to Angler’s terrace can expect a slice of Italy all summer long.

Caffè Torino at Angler runs from 3 July until 2 September.
