Lympstone-Manor-English-Wine-Week

Earlier this year, Chef Michael Caines announced the planting of a vineyard within his beautiful 28-acre estate, Lympstone Manor located on the East Devon Exe. Inspired by the outstanding quality of wines produced from grapes grown in Devon, as well as the ideal south-west facing position of the grounds, the team planted approximately 18,000 vines last month with the aim of producing classic champagne-method sparkling wines. The microclimate at the site is particularly suited to growing grapes, falling within the top 5% in the entire country, putting it on par with some of the best sparkling wine producers in the UK. This year, to celebrate English Wine Week, Lympstone Manor will be offering diners a variety of English Wines by the glass for guests to sample available from Saturday 26th May until Sunday 3rd June. https://lympstonemanor.co.uk/
