Sauce has worked with Jason Atherton since 2005, helping him to successfully emerge from his relationship with Gordon Ramsay Holdings to launch his first solo venture, Pollen Street Social, which opened to huge acclaim in April 2011.
Since the launch of Pollen Street Social Jason has opened several restaurants across the globe including Esquina, which opened its doors in Singapore’s Chinatown in November 2011The 15 seat tapas bar serves modern Spanish food as well as classics such as a Spanish tortilla and Gambas al sal. Jason’s influence is most apparent on the dessert menu with distinctive dishes including Black olive sorbet with strawberry gazpacho and basil.
Sauce has continued to help grow Jason Atherton’s profile by a steady flow of press coverage across UK and international media. He is the author of two cookery books: The Maze Cookbook and Gourmet Food for a Fiver and is a regular guest on programmes including Saturday Kitchen and Masterchef.
